 Our vision is to transform communities by harnessing the power of creativity. We envision a world where local artists and creative professionals have the resources and support they need to succeed, where nonprofits receive vital funding and exposure, and where businesses can contribute to the growth of both the arts and philanthropy. Through our initiatives, we strive to foster a sense of unity, cooperation, and support among all stakeholders. 

 Paws in Need is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping pets in the Hampton Roads community. Their mission is to provide financial assistance for emergency veterinary care, with the ultimate goal of keeping pets healthy and in their loving homes. Paws in Need understands that pets are family, and they believe that no pet should go without the necessary medical treatment due to financial limitations. 

 Here at Kaylee's LEGOCY, we know all too well what it's like to sit in the hospital day after day with nothing but time on your hands.  Lego bricks are fun, colorful, and easy to use.  Building with Lego bricks holds unlimited open-ended possibilities. There isn't just one way to play with a set of Lego bricks!  They can be therapeutic and ease stress.  Some of the other benefits of this program include: Creativity, fine motor skills, self-confidence, communication, focus, problem solving, teamwork, and organization. 

The moving force behind the work of the American Diabetes Association® is a network of more than 565,000 volunteers, their families and caregivers, a professional society of nearly 12,000 health care professionals, as well as nearly 350 staff members. We lead the fight against the deadly consequences of diabetes and fight for those affected by diabetes.

• We fund research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes.
• We deliver services to hundreds of communities.
• We provide objective and credible information.
• We give voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes.

Aid Another is dedicated to promoting inclusivity for families with individuals with disabilities through our comprehensive programs. Our main objective is to raise awareness about the unique needs of these families within our community. We are committed to empowering individuals with disabilities, both children and adults, by providing them with opportunities for social integration and active participation in various activities. Our ultimate goal is to create an environment that fosters acceptance, support, and advocacy for everyone. Through our inclusive educational, cultural, and recreational programs, we strive to enhance the quality of life for families with individuals with disabilities, reducing their sense of isolation and improving their social interactions. 

Founded in 1977, Regent University’s 13,000 students are studying on its 70-acre campus in Virginia Beach, VA., and online around the world. The university offers associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from a Christian perspective in 150+ areas of study including business, communication and the arts, cybersecurity and technology, divinity, education, government, law, leadership, nursing and healthcare, and psychology. Our students, faculty and administrators share a calling, founded on biblical principles, to make a significant difference in our world. 

 When everyone in our area can thrive, our community thrives. That’s why United Way of South Hampton Roads teams up with individuals as well as corporate, community and nonprofit partners to solve the 757’s biggest problems.

Whether it’s relief during a short-term crisis or long-term support to rebuild someone’s life, our programs, and those of our partners, create a network of solutions. When you give to United Way of South Hampton Roads, you become part of that network. 

Recognizing that single parents sometimes experience life differently than other families, we are committed to addressing their concerns surrounding their emotional, financial and physical stability.

 Back in April of 2019, our Non-Profit Organization realized that through networking, outreach, community resources, and  partnerships we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently by creating a support system of other families, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Our Children Our Village.

Seton Youth Services shall provide a safe haven, counseling and outreach services, 24 hours per day without charge, to assist youth in crisis throughout Hampton Roads, with the goal of reuniting families. 

 Seton Youth Services leads the way in delivering critical help to teens in crisis throughout Southside Hampton Roads. The caring staff offers hope and confidence to teens and parents while creative implementation of programs provides added capability. 

We're all about building community and that starts with our partners. We collaborate with local child-serving agencies, churches and other community organizations and businesses to help meet the needs of families. 

Our programs are designed to meet the practical and social needs of the families in our care. From monthly diaper distributions, to home and car repairs, and trauma competencies, our goal is to provide resources that bring families stability and connection.

 Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach, Inc. is a group of female leaders dedicated to community change. Composed of diverse, creative, compassionate, and action-oriented women, our League is committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action of trained volunteers. Our members have varying backgrounds and interests and share a commitment to building a better community. 

  We were founded in 2014 with one goal: to grant a wish to every child in Virginia Beach foster care. Since then, we have expanded and taken on important, innovative new projects and events to address the additional needs of youth in the foster care system and their families.
